Happy Songkran Festival~

During my Internship at Kingmaker Games Entertainment, I was tasked to complete a splash art for Songkran Festival (A Yearly Event in Thailand to celebrate the new year) for their games greeting page.
Although this was something new to me, I did enjoy the process from designing thumbnail ideas to the finishing touches of photo-bashing and paint overs.
From the start, I did some background research about the festival itself and then moved on to the reference boards for the piece. Thumbnailing and thinking of poses was quite challenging as I have to imagine potential poses that would fit and match the theme as well as the mascot from the company.
After finalizing the poses and composition, my colleagues in the 3D team worked on the render of Luna, one of their mascot chosen for this Splash.
With the guidance of my Mentor, I am constantly improving the piece which also includes the main greeting message as well as the different languages localizations.
